Steel S liding temple spectacles.
The eyeglasses are in excellent condition.
The hinges are tight, the frames are not broken or bent.
They date to between 1760 and 1780.
The right hand lens is badly chipped. This can be seen in the photograph.
This pair of frames would be an excellent choice for a reenactor
or someone doing living history.
New lenses can easily be installed
