French & Indian War
This war was the last war in a series of conflicts between Great Brittain and France for dominance in North America. The war was fought between 1754 and 1763. The British victory ended the French empire in North America. Many spectacles made in France are also found on the antique marketplace. Some of these have a unique type of bridge shaped like a "k" or sometimes "x."
