Jackie Kennedy Onassis was born Jacqueline Lee Bouvier on May 29th 1929. to John Vernou Bouvier III and Janet Norton Lee. Jackie attended Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut, and later went on to study at Vassar College.

In 1953, she married U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy. Jackie gave birth to their daughter Caroline in 1957, and two years later, their son John Jr. was born. Jackie and John were both active in politics, and she campaigned alongside him throughout his presidential campaign. After his election, she became First Lady of the United States.
